【英語】雙語教學~Practical Bilingual Learning in a Simple Way(下)

先前提到,因為學生的因素,比較少見創新的教學階段,若有,多以結合資訊科技的方式進行,也在呼應CLIL教學法中對數位科技運用的需求。

Mentimeter、Canva、Flipgrid、Jamboard、Google Docs、Google Forms、Google Slides等科技工具,在國小階段綜合教學活動歷程中,均可融入應用,不僅提高學習參與,更能有效檢核與蒐集學習成果。而YouTube和Wordwall上,也有令人驚豔的教學資源與素材。

小小提醒,在YouTube和Wordwall網站的資源多搭配簡易英語,老師們可因班級需求而調整,改編成更為實用口語化的授課素材。Mentimeter和Google Forms都能立刻以各類表單呈現學生回饋,前者還有Word Cloud的圖示,這些資料可以轉化為下一教學步驟的實時教材,增加學生參與度。

此外,繪本屬於領綱所規範十九種教學體裁中的Stories,並不是必要因素,也不是只有帶入繪本,才能進行閱讀素養教學。情境卡的文字敘述部分,若改編合宜,就能以標的語言的閱讀文本方式呈現,自然融入雙語教學脈絡,讓學習者沉浸其中。茲舉例如下:

1.What would your reaction be when losing a pet?

改編 →You just lost a pet dog.

Your family had it for 7 years.

What would your reaction be?

2.How would you feel if you received failing grades?

改編 →You studied hard for the math quiz.

You received a score of 30%.

How would you feel?

3.What would you do if you were not able to join a class activity?

改編 →The class is playing ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ in 11 pairs.

You are the 23rd student.

What would you do?

要實踐CLIL雙語教學法,教師間須仰賴彼此的溝通與合作,除了校內同事,社群媒體上也有許多國內外相關社團,網路資源也不少。
